Short Opinion Piece
In my two decades of work, I've witnessed firsthand the profound suffering and hurt experienced by children and young people. Unfortunately, our societal structure often leaves them without a supportive outlet to express themselves, leaving them vulnerable to negative influences from outside their biological environment (nurturing). These external factors can shape their beliefs, ideas, and worldviews, often to their detriment.
Furthermore, parents are often socially, economically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically absent from their children's lives, a situation systematically supported by the current status quo. This creates a Catch-22, where families are damned if they do and damned if they don't. The residual effect is a slow movement towards freedom.
